DIY Chlorophyll Spritzer
What’s up with this weather in NYC? One day it’s 62 degrees and everyone is wearing t-shirts and shorts and the next day it’s snowing and schools are cancelled. How about that for climate control? The weather is up and down so it’s more important than ever to take care of your body and protect yourself from catching a bug. Since healthier alternatives are a trend this year, some ideas ran across my mind including this spritzer. Non-Alcoholic beverages are making their way up, so I created a beverage where both worlds collide using Chlorophyll.
Surprisingly it has a lot of benefits, but first what the hell is Chlorophyll?
In simple terms, Chlorophyll is pigment in green plants that helps transfers light into energy. Like green vegetables, it’s a good source of vitamins A, C, E, and K. Their benefits contain some of the following:
Helps Control Hunger and Cravings
Super Potent Antioxidant Action
Promising Potential for Cancer
With these nutritious properties, I was excited to curate a drink from Chlorophyll. Oh and – THIS IS ONE OF THE EASIEST RECIPE ON EARTH! You can purchase Chlorophyll in any heath food stores or grocery stores with a large organic section.
